Celebration
Congratulations! You successfully completed our Grade 7 Music Program! I know you are graduating this year and I won't see you at DPE anymore, but this is not the end of our relationship. I am sure we will run into each other again very soon. So I am not going to say good-bye, but say SEE YOU AGAIN! I would like to celebrate your achievement by singing "See You Again" by One Voice Children's Choir. Have a wonderful summer! |

Landfill Harmonic
Music can transform society. Landfill Harmonic Orchestra is a great example of how one simple idea can transform lives and provide an opportunity to transcend one's situation in life. A music teacher helps children living by a Paraguay landfill site to reach their dreams with instruments made from rubbish.

A) Watch the video about this amazing orchestra on the right.
B) Design & create your own instrument from recycled materials that you can find from your own home. When you are done, please take a picture of your design and instrument and e-mail them to me. |

Music is all about creativity. This means anything you see around you can be your new instrument. This week I would like you to use a cup as your instrument and learn how to sing and play this popular cup song.

Hey Gr 7s, this is a great opportunity for you to review and extend your knowledge about your instrument (AND your friends'). Enjoy!
